This raises a good question. When do you become a professional writer instead of an amateur? The second you make any money? When writing becomes your full time profession? Ever??
That is a good question Alice. Maybe it’s more of a state of mind. I think you’re definitely a pro if you’ve been optioned or if screenwriting is a significant form of income. But it’s probably a case of individual identity really!
