Hi there, welcome to the forum. Glad you liked Weapons, I can’t lie – I wasn’t a fan at all. But reviews are pretty great! Meanwhile Him is getting poor reviews, so maybe I’ll enjoy that one ![]()
So I’ve spent the year living in El Salvador so I missed a few big films in theaters. I just got back to Baltimore, MD. Though I did get to see Mickey 17 in theaters down in El Salvador. I would say Sinners was good but my favorite was Nosferatu by far. Mickey 17 was cool, but not my favorite and kind of dull at parts to me. My dark horse is Baltimorons! I just saw it, and thought it was a throwback and funny quirky film, with an original story. I would definitely check it out.
It’s been a while, but I remember leaving the theater feeling really satisfied after watching Mickey 17. Still have a handful of films to see; Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein looks like a cinematic treat, One Battle After Another, and Wicked 2 (I was a theater-kid geek).
