Refreshing to read something fun and family friendly like this - recommend if you need a break from all the heartbreak, murder, and horror :joy:

My daughter wants to be an actress and we recently love reading screenplys together. This is the type of film she wants to watch and act in, perfect for kids under eight.

That’s sweet. Did she play the part of Chloe?

Love this logline. Immediately makes me want to read the script.

As someone who always views life from my dog’s perspective, I found it fascinating to read the story from Chloe’s point of view. The story reminded me of Aristocats, a classic tale with a cute yet adventurous theme.

She just likes to listen and tell me how to do the voices.

Chloe is important but Hortense steals the show.

A lot of cute action but I’d almost rather see it as “The Quest to get the Voice”, do a quick setup of the situation and have Chloe, Max and Hortense spend the whole movie in pursuit of the spell that allows her to talk. The Dog and Rats can still be trying to stop them along the way, but the triumph is getting the voice and having a big speech to stop the swearing in ceremony. I also see a cute moment when Chloe gets to say something while she has the chance. “By the way, since this chance to speak goes away and never comes back again, I’d like to speak for all cats when I say: Stop teasing us with lasers!” or something else cat-appropriate :-)
