The way Neelum put so much effort into being seen, the devotion to her craft of cooking. Made my heart heavy for her but humbled by her presence and response to Anish’s dismissiveness. I genuinely enjoyed the writing, the scenes. The creative details and food prep journey in the scenes drew me in for the journey
The cooking scenes had me salivating, like those in Studio Ghibli films. I felt really bad for Neelum, in the way all her hard work isn’t rewarded by the man she loves the most. And that final scene was WILD. It reminded me a lot of Saltburn. Would love to see this get made.
