An initially conventional romantic comedy is disrupted when its screenwriter inserts himself into the story and appears to be a better match for his leading lady than his leading man is.
This is such a clever screenplay, enjoying this before it’s produced is such a treat. I’m imagining telling people in years to come that I read this before it was a smash hit. Like getting in on the ground floor for Adaptation and recognising lightning in a bottle.
