The thumbnail image is AI slop so I already had a bad taste in my mouth, but the treatment is also AI slop, and I have no doubt the screenplay is too. Whoever submitted this put absolutely no effort in, they do not deserve the prize
So you didn’t read the script but you hate it. You sound like a VERY bitter person (maybe a failed writer) It beat out 2,774 other screenplays to make the top 26. OBVIOUSLY the judges thought it deserved to be in the running. And the movie poster design was very fun and retro.
