Table Reads Are Here!

It’s almost the weekend, Kinolimers, and we’ve got another exciting update. :film_projector:

Our Head of Development, John Schramm, sat down with Julia Yorks and a handful of talented actors to bring some key scenes from our top three finalists to life. Check them out through the official voting page to earn 3 Lime$ per table read, or if you’re just in it for the love of the game – check out the videos below.

DECOMPOSER

As someone who’s spent years trying to get my script off the ground, seeing it performed, even as a table read, meant the freaking world to me. And it was SO cool seeing the other top 3 being read as well. It really demonstrates how vastly different each screenplay is. Bravo!

All were good. But, from my view…Michael Way just leapt off the screen. I’m just going to throw this out there…hoping to put a bug in your ear…IF Kinolime ends up making Cooperville…audition Michael for the Mosquito Man part. Something tells me he would absolutely CRUSH it. I mean, obviously he’s a fit for the part he read in Composer, too. But, I’m just saying…

Interesting take. He does give me kind of fun sub teacher vibes.

I used to be a little bit of a sh!t. I’m not calling you a sh!t. You look like a pretty…
(Glances at George)
…pretty well put together fella.

I laughed out loud at this. Epic delivery, Michael. And “George” was pretty much exactly what I was imagining.
