Incredible. A tearjerker that felt instantly nostalgic in a similar way that a story like THE HOLDOVERS made me feel. Forging a relationship with your family as they forget who you are. So devastating, so well written.

Read this very slowly but it took me three days because I had to put it down a few times when it got too sad. Got me caught in my feelings as someone who’s lost a loved one to alzheimer’s.
