Tough question… Palm Springs maybe? It wasn’t a huge hit but No Hard Feelings is underrated IMO
The script itself really moves at a nice pace there’s a few minor missteps but I digress were not talking Izzy Diamond here. What the writer gets right is the setup of the character Nate and the juxtaposition of him being an Italian in a Jewish kid’s body or Jewish culture makes for great hilarity and in a word… genius. Nate’s/John’s arc does follow correctly the way a made guy would build and earn which gives this a real authenticity and folks that know and don’t know will find things that they can relate to. Overall, I would recommend this and push this up the ladder as we readers say it was an enjoyable read and kept my interest long enough to last past ten pages. Sadly, most that came across my desk never did… I would love to see this be greenlit as I think the right cast could bring some gravitas to some pretty damn good writing. Great Job.

I think I’m glad I missed the submission deadline this time around, because as happy and confident as I am with my script, I’m not positive I would’ve won against this one. I became absolutely certain on that when I actually read it and found myself hoping that I would get to actually see it in theatres, very happy this one was the winner, and I’m very excited to watch it when the day comes.
